Headline failures on the B58 3.0L turbo I6 (F/G-series x40i models, 2015+)
The B58 is more reliable than the N54/N55 on the HPFP front but inherits the VANOS solenoid clogging from the family. Early production had a charge-pipe plastic-to-metal joint that produces 30FF and 120308 codes under load. The thermostat-related P0128 is the second-most-common code, especially on F-series x40i models.
